It is a great
honor to be elected as Asia Chapter President of International
Association of Journals and Conferences. I look forward to working
with the other members of the Executive Committee to serve the
members of the association and the wider community for the next
few years. Working together, I am sure we can do a lot to enhance
all the
aspects of technology-related education.
IAJC provides
great opportunities for all scientists, post graduates, researchers,
and university students to network with their international
colleagues around the world. Another important outcome is the
formation of the yearly international conference, IJME. Moreover,
IAJC helps authors prepare, improve, and find the right journals
for timely publication, gives discounts at its sponsored conferences, and
a host of other benefits. This follows the aim of plugging the
conference outcomes into the distinguished journals. So, it is with
pleasure that IAJC Asia and Pacific Chapter extend a warm invitation
to join IAJC as an active and scientific member.
To expand the
mission of IAJC to other countries, the East Asia chapter opened
September 2008. On one hand, the Asia Chapter brings the local
academic and industrial journals, conferences, organizations and
individuals under the umbrella of IAJC and offers the services of
this organization to its members in Asia, and on the other hand, it
bridges the scientific and technological activities of Asia to the West
through professional meetings and joint publications.
It is more important than ever that we work together to
encourage the next generation to study, publish and share their
research and understandings. Therefore I am pleased to announce that
we are extending another chapter to the science world.
Thank you in
advance for your support, and I look forward to our society's
future.
Asia and Pacific Chapter President
